When and where are the meetings held?
Meetings are held three times per month at The Range St. Louis West. Each meeting in that month covers the same topic, offering flexible options for every scheduling need.
| What happens during a typical meeting? Our monthly 2-hour meetings consist of 1 hour in the classroom followed by 1 hour in our women-only dedicated private bay on the range.
Gun rentals are available for $5 plus the cost of on-site purchased ammo. |
Can I attend more than one session per month?Members are asked to sign up for only the one session per month that best fits their schedule, allowing everyone an opportunity to participate. | Can non-members attend a meeting?Yes. A non-member can attend one session for free as the guest of a current member (members add their guest when they sign up). Outside of that one free visit, non-members are welcome anytime for a $20/session donation — with no limit on how many times. Since membership is just $50/year and includes a free monthly session plus other benefits, it pays for itself after about three visits. |
How can I sign up for meetings?Members can sign up for meetings through the sign up link. | What should I do if I can't attend a session I signed up for? Please notify the organizers as soon as possible, so your spot can be given to someone else. |
What topics are covered in the meetings?Topics vary each month. Previous monthly topics include:
| What if I arrive late to a meeting?Though we understand unusual circumstances may occur, it is recommended to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled class time. This allows for the check-in process and ensures that attendees are seated in the classroom before the actual start time. Not only does this convey respect for the instructor's dedicated schedule, but it also allows attendees to participate in an uninterrupted classroom session. Important: If the meeting starts before The Range's normal business hours, the doors will lock on time and you will not be able to attend.
